Information we process

When you create an account we collect your email address, a username and a password. The password is stored only as a salted hash. While you use DropNio we keep technical connection logs, such as IP addresses and sign-in times, and service usage data.

To run the service on your behalf we also store the product, listing, order, shipping and tracking data of the marketplace accounts you connect. This includes the buyer user names and delivery addresses that come with your eBay orders. Each customer account has its own separate database.

Marketplace connections

eBay access is granted on eBay's own authorization screen and can be revoked at any time; we never see or store your eBay password. AliExpress access is authorized with your store's own AliExpress account. If you save the sign-in details of a supplier account for ordering, they are stored encrypted.

Supplier product information used for your listings, such as price and availability, is processed on servers operated by DropNio or its hosting providers. Some ordering features run in your own browser through the DropNio browser extension.

Service providers

We share information with these providers only as needed to run DropNio:

• Stripe, for subscription payments. Card details are entered on Stripe's own pages and never reach our servers.
• Our email delivery provider, for account and service emails such as confirmations and password resets.
• OpenRouter, for AI features such as listing texts, brand checks and reply drafts. The product or message content of each request is sent to the AI model that OpenRouter routes it to.
• Aquiline, only when a store turns on tracking number conversion. It receives the details of the orders it converts: the supplier order number, the product, the delivery name and address, and the tracking information.
• Hosting providers that run the servers DropNio operates on.

Information is also exchanged with eBay, AliExpress and the other marketplaces you connect, as needed to carry out the actions you ask for, for example the delivery address of an order you buy from a supplier.

How information is used

• Providing, securing and improving the service.
• Troubleshooting, customer support and fraud prevention.
• Processing subscriptions and meeting legal obligations.

Sharing and sale of data

Personal data is not sold. It is shared only with the service providers listed above as needed to run the service, or when required by law.

Your choices and rights

You may ask for a copy of your personal data, its correction or its deletion by writing to [email protected] from the email address on your account. Legal retention and security obligations may limit deletion in some cases.

Security and retention

Passwords are stored only as salted hashes, and reasonable technical and organizational safeguards are used. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. Data is kept only as long as reasonably necessary for the service, security and legal obligations.

DropNio uses an essential session cookie and local browser storage. The cookie policy explains both.
